Few product-based and core-sector organizations visit JNTUK to recruit students; consequently, relatively few people are placed.
The majority of those in the jntuk will be visited and recruited by service-based IT enterprises. But they will interview and hire candidates regardless of the technical field.However, everything relies on the students that showed up for the placement. Most likely, the top 5 branches have 20 to 35 individuals.
Computer Science engineering would come up when discussing IT employment.

Admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main or SAT score. Bennett University also accepts NEET score for BTech Biotechnology. Besides, candidates must also pass Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate or with a minimum score of 24 in IB Board to apply for the BTech course.
Candidates should have passed Class 12 with Physics and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate along with any other third subject or with a minimum score of 24 in IB Board to apply for BTech Biotechnology. The shortlisted candidates are further called for document verification round.

At the end of Phase 1 placement 2025-26, IIT Patna BTech placement rate recorded was 54.34%. The overall placement rate recorded during IIT Patna BTech placements 2024 was 77.92%. The branch-wise students registered and students placed during IIT Patna BTech placements 2024 is presented below:

Yes, IIT Patna provides good placements in BTech course. At the end of phase 1 placement 2025-26, BTech highest and average package was INR 117 LPA and 25.82 LPA. Overall 90 companies visited the campus and more than 390 offers were made during the placement drive 2026.

Our college provides great faculty members and course curriculum. Placements: Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Amazon, Nike, HCL, Tata, HSBC, Reliance, etc.. Internships are offered in this course. The average salary package offered varies between 10 LPA - 14 LPA. (ECE)
Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida has a Career Development Centre (CDC) that helps students get ready for the workforce or to pursue higher education.
