PES University is good for pursuing BTech CSE. The placements are very good and the PES University infrastructure is also good. PES Bangalore provides various scholarships for students. PES University Bangalore is ranked 101-150 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 for BTech. So it is one of the best universities in India for offering B.Tech CSE courses. The BTech CSE alumni are very successful in their life. They have made the university proud.

BTech course is offered in five specialisations at IIT Palakkad: Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Data Science Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Data Science is the new addition to the IIT Palakkad B.Tech programme which was introduced in 2022. The curriculum includes core courses that cover topics such as mathematics, Probability and Statistics computational thinking, data management, modelling and assessment, and ethics, providing a strong foundation in these subjects.

Admission to the BTech programme is through CUSAT CAT. The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for BTech Computer Science is that the candidate must be a Class 12 pass with 50% aggregate in PCM and 50% in Mathematics. Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities require only pass marks whereas SEBC candidates of Kerala State (non-creamy layer category) are eligible for 5% relaxation in qualifying exam marks. Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for the course:
