Hi,

The most common degree option for Construction Engineering is a BTech in Civil Engineering, with a specialisation in Construction Engineering or Construction Management. Eligibility for this is given below:

  • Completing 10+2 with good marks in math and science.
  • Scoring well in an entrance exam like JEE Main or state-level engineering entrance exams.
  • Pursuing a 4-year B.Tech. program with focus on construction-related subjects.

The average tuition fee for Construction Engineering courses ranges from INR 2 lakh - 6 lakh. UEM Kolkata cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE on the basis of which admission to the BE/ BTech courses take place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the stdudents belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course at UEM Kolkata with a closing rank of 8796.
