As for government. Engineering college the candidate must be appeared in respective government Engineering entrance exam. For most of the government. Colleges JEE Mains is sufficient. But some colleges conduct their own entrance exams. Like WBJEE COMEDK etc. Now some private engineering colleges can give admission based on 12th marks. But through JEE Mains you can also get good private college. B.Tech from CSE is top notch branch nowadays so your child has to grind hard to present his skills and get admission in superb college.

It is not easy to get an NIT but you easily get IIITs with this rank. You should try to upgrade your marks in the 2nd session. So focus on that.

You easily get into NITs and IITs. Just focus on 2nd season and upgrade the grades. After that you should focus on JEE Advance and get into IITs.

Education Qualification for IAS exam: Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. UPSC Civil Services Exam Age Limit: Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. You should choice the option which is subject you interested you choice for option because it's good chance to score more mark in the subject you know well you have a good knowledge.

The qualifying cutoff varies each year. The expected Cutoff for JEE Main 2023 is 88+ percentile for General Category, 75+ percentile for NC-OBC and EWS category and 45+ for SC Category.
