Both are top NITs, and you can prefer either NIT Silchar or NIT Agartala for B.Tech CSE. Here are some parameters based on which you can decide where to enroll for admission:
1. NIRF Ranking: In the NIRF rankings, the NIT Silchar is ahead of the NIT Agartala at the 38th rank.
2. Admissions possibility: Because of the lower competition, admission to NIT Agartala is easier than admission to NIT Silchar based on the JEE Mains closing rank. The closing rank was 34096 at NIT A whereas it was 18947 at NIT S.
3. Infrastructure: Based on alumni ratings, the NIT S has a superior infrastructure to the NIT A, which lacks some facilities like conve

The biotechnology subject primarily deals with the research and applied aspects of biological processes. In respect to research in biotechnology, the B.Sc. In biotechnology will be a better option. However, if you want to work in an industrial process-related field, you can pursue a B.Tech in biotechnology.
1. The B.Tech in biotechnology covers both Science as well as engineering subjects like genetics, bioprocess engineering, biochemical engineering, etc.
2. On the other hand B.Sc. In biotechnology deals with the research and development in biological sciences such as biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Microbial Genetics, etc.

Hello, i feel that you are seeking to know closing rather than cutoff ranks. Right? This institution is considered as premium by students and hence they flick to it. As a result closing ranks are quite stiff. Last year the admissions closed at percentile of 99.78. Of course this year too situation is not likely to change much. So study well and get into this bracket of percentile. To help you further, i am attaching the link that will give you more details.

Hello,
There are just about 50000sears in total in different NIT's. If you are OBC, then you will be competing for seats within the quota for OBCs. At 27%, this means there are only about 13500 seats reserved for OBC students. Your ranking is 38000. So you can SEE for yourself where you stand. Of course, due to some freak permutations and combinations, you may still get a seat. However, I would like to advise you to take a break, study well and score handsomely to give a ranking of better than 500 to get admission to your desired institute and branch. Best wishes to you.

it's very nice to see that you are checking out fees before seeking admission. In this Institute the annual tuition fees us about rupees 80000/-. However please do remember that a student will need to pay many more types of fees other than this. Hence you should budget for St least rupees one lakh per year. Best wishes to you.

Hello Chandan Patra, the fees in IIIT Bhuvneshwar is about rupees 80000/- per semester. But a student will need to spend another rupees 25000/- for different types of fees so approximately it comes to around rupees 100000/- per semester.
Best wishes to you.
