What is SAT India?
SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardised undergraduate university admission test conducted by the College Board for offering admission to Students in universities of the US and Canada. SAT scores are also accepted by some universities/ colleges in the UK and Australia. Apart from international universities/ colleges, the exam is also accepted for admission in more than 20 colleges in India. SAT comprises a Reading Test, a Writing and Language Test, and Math Test. All Students willing to attempt the SAT this year must complete the SAT 2026 registration process. Students must visit the College Board website to apply for the SAT 2026. Students can follow the below-given stages to complete the SAT registration process;

SAT India 2026 Exam Pattern
The SAT conducting authority, the College Board publishes the SAT exam pattern on the official website. The SAT exam consists of two sections namely; Reading and Writing (RW), and Mathematics. There will be 54 questions in the reading and writing section and 44 questions are asked in the Mathematics section. The time allotted to attempt both sections of the SAT 2026 exam (India) will be 2 hours and 14 minutes. Students will be allotted separate time durations to solve each section.
