I will tell you about a General Category Male candidate (The most screwed guy for JoSAA)
JEE Mains Rank is 10887 (185 marks after revaluation of answer key). Below expectation result in Advanced, so can't get IIT (10782). Didn't had Interest in any branch but by placements, I could understand why everyone preferred CSE. But CSE, I could not get in any top NIT (Not in my own city), my father is a contractor and told me about civil engineering and it's long term gains (which we cannot forsee just by looking at the placements of UG ), so chose it. (would not have taken mechanical even if I got it in IITB). .

There are many colleges of B.Tech data Science available in the Kerala State some of them are (NIIT Calicut) Fees here is 54000 per year (IIST ) fees here is 1.45 Lacs per year (SOE)Fees here is 86000 per year

For general category students, the minimal cutoff for admission to PES University is 94746 to get a free se and also this is the best university which a good records of placements which can give you a better life style.

Because most universities use CUCET as a pathway to undergraduate admissions, competition is expected to be fierce. To be eligible to sit in the CUET students must obtain a minimum of 55%, and to qualify; they should get 60% of the total marks.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration last date was extended for the B.Tech Admission and the window closed on 16 March 2023. Apply. The last date to apply is 09 April 2023 for B.Tech Admission and also you have to apply before given date.

The lateral entry scheme is only for the Diploma holder candidates and they will get direct admission in second year. There are some of the universities which conducts entrance examination for the lateral entry candidates and some of the universities allot colleges through counseling which can be done as per their marks in Diploma.
