Hi,
Both the institute are good equally, but Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified team of professionals as faculty members who provide the best possible guidance. Although VIT has a better ranking but grooming wise TIET does the work better. Thapar University is better than VIT in placements as well as in academics. Thapar focus is always on quality whereas VIT's main focus is on quantity. Placement statistics of both colleges is almost same but as the number of students in VIT is too many therefore Thapar would always be at

Hi  Thapar University BE and B.Tech admissions are based on a candidate's valid score in JEE Main along with the marks secured in Class 12 examination. The merit list prepared by the University for B.Tech admission also include the marks secured in Physics Chemistry and Maths during Class 12 examination. Applicants are required to fill application form one time only and on the basis of single application form, they can seek admission through any mode, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. 50% of the total BE/B.Tech seats shall be filled on the basis of percentile based merit of JEE Main.

The college also gives a good training for the placements but if you miss those classes you will be fined. Around 90% of the students are placed from the CSE branch. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Sahara, Wipro and TCS used to visit the campus. Mostly, the job of data entry is given to the students.

It's great. I am also in KIITEE and I feel really a nice branch And with few more subjects added in CSE. But there is only one subject form CSE which is not available That is, (formal Automata Theory), if you are interested in you can get to learn from YouTube not a big deal. Placement wise my senior friend will be having this for first time but there is no difference between csse and CSE or IT.

RTU, Kota is Technical University of Rajasthan on state level. And the cuttoff is 63720 and many more Students from RBSE or any other affiliated boards can apply and cutoff would not matter too much. Their are N numbers of college who gives direct admission affiliated to RTU, Kota. But yet if you would be planning for engineering, its better to drop very next year and go for the best. Nevertheless if aiming for RTU, Kota the go with brands like SKIT or any other private college with better Placement Cells.

If we go by the trends
The JEE mains cut off for general category male student goes upto 85000
For OBC male candidates the rank can go to 1.5 Lac
There is further more reservation for SC or ST candidates and female students.
If you want a branch of your choice make sure your rank is decent and falls below 80000.
If your rank is falling in this range and you are willing to take admission in GBPUAT then apply for the online counselling conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University and grab your seat here.

I would begin by saying that there is no as such fixed cutoff score of BITSAT. The last year cutoff BITSAT 2016) can be seen by clicking at the link given below. At Pilani Campus cutoff was 240 (B.Pharma)
At Goa Campus cutoff was 297 (Biological Sciences)
At Hyderabad Campus cutoff was 224 (B.Pharma)
This year the cutoffs went a bit low and they went up to 200 to 300. But looking at these scores the students should not become complacent as BITSAT cutoff score vary every year and are thus not fixed.

You can check from the above table. Your programme fee is Rs 100000 per semester. After applying the 50% scholarship to your programme fee, the fee remains Rs 50,000 per semester. To get admission at Apollo University, you just need to pay Rs 10,000 for provisional admission and book your seat. Then, the rest of the fee amount you need to pay within 10 days which is left after applying the scholarship (means Rs. 40,000). But your scholarship will be activated after the final verification. Only this is the last chance.
