Hi, if you were having Maths in your 12th then surely go for B.Tech as it has more vast curriculum as compared to BCA and offered much better industrial opportunities. But if you had Biology in 12th and want to make a career in CS then go for BCA. Hope this helps you!

It is one of the best colleges for B.Tech. So, you will need to score between 97 and 98 percentiles to be admitted to the B. Tech programme at HBTU, Kanpur.
I am mentioning the latest cutoff as per 2021 for B.Tech at HBTU as Branch name, Opening cutoff, Closing cutoff:
Civil Engineering: 36834, 56842
Computer Science and Engineering:14586, 20281
Electrical Engineering: 34631, 41431

That is a splendid profile for good colleges. It is very hard for Iims to reject the 9-9 profiles (90% in 10th 90%in 12th). Adding to that is your work ex which is a major profile decider. Also, you have a decent score in CAT so you can expect good calls.
