Hi, first of all one thing you have to remember the cutoff will be based on the students appeared for the entrance examination.
If you get below 2200 then there are changes to get admission for CSE

Yes, their are some colleges that allow B.Tech lateral entry and the most popular colleges Chitkara University as well as Chandigarh University provide the admission in lateral entry.
