Hi. As you might be knowing that BIET is the first institute in India to introduce a new BTech program on AI engineering. Though the seats are very limited and the name AI is having such a demand now a days, the cutoff rank for it will be competing with that of CSE of IITH and other old IITs.
My view upon the branch is that it will be having some awesome faculty . Firstly we at IITH are having some really good profs in this field . I have taken a course Intro to AI and ML in this sem .The course provided us a quick start to understand what AI is all about. It was really awesome. So if you are truly intrested in pursuing a degree in AI , there's no other fantastic place other an BIET.
FEEL FREE TO UPVOTE , So that many aspirants will be knowing about the new branch.

My predictions are infact true

It depends on perspective of every individual, I would like to share my perspective.
Civil is a good branch, you have so many interesting subjects to learn, many people choose to avoid giving civil a preference 'cause they think Civil me placement nahi hota' 'Construction site par kaam karna padega .But civil has so many sub branches (Structural, Environmental, Transportation, Water Resources, Construction technology, etc) which gives a good opportunity for further studies.
I agree that the placement scenario of civil is poor if you compare it to Mech, CSE, ECE, EEE , but if you are good with your subjects it shouldn't be a problem.
Most of the profs in VNIT are good, but some are literally unbearable xD, however overall you'll have a good experience.

Now a days, the demand of agriculture has gone on boom. Most of the times students asks about a seat in agriculture but as the demand has gone high, the students are facing a very tough competition and if you are talking about a prestigious agriculture college of India where the foreigners too approach as their first priority that is TNAU.
1. Getting a BSc agriculture seat in TNAU is as tough as like getting a best medical college in India because every year it is on boom.(very high in demand).
2. TNAU cut off calculation .
Marks of each subject each main subject would be converted to 50 as follows. Marks obtained is divided by 4 and the aggregate of the 4 subjects will be taken four ranking. The aggregate marks would be out of 200.You will have to write TNAU entrance exam .
3. Now the required cut off for 2020 intake.
The cut off will also depend on your category you belong to because last year, the cut off was 198 of general and 195 for bc candidates.
4. Definitely this year also the cut off will be around this much only.
