Dear aspirant, Nice to see you. Both the programmes carry different importance. It depends upon personal aptitude that decides which programme is better for her/him. B Tech in Food Technology has a better overall prospect as even without a master's course you can enter into the industry/job market whereas B.Sc. (Ag) graduates generally need M.Sc. (Ag) for higher positions. Both the graduates may take any competition for which the minimum prescribed qualification is graduation in any discipline. So for administrative/bank/railway both have equal prospects. An agriculture graduate has, however, an advantage for some posts in bank especially Agriculture Officer or Extension Officer. Galgotias college is much older than Galgotias University and holds an esteem and dignified profile. Galgotias University was established in 2011 in the extension of Galgotias college but now they are two different identities but share the same placement cell. Hope you got some light!
