Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Students don't have to score good marks in entrance exams because Engineering Colleges Direct Admission is based on class 12th board marks. If you have 45-50% marks in the 12th Science subjects, you can take B.Tech direct admission in India. You cant get direct admission into government engineering colleges as the admissions in these colleges are based on the rules and regulations fixed by the state government. No, government colleges in India for Engineering do not allot any seats under the management quota. Usually, there are two types of colleges for students who are willing to pursue their career in Engineering field, first one is Private Colleges and second one is Government Colleges. The cutoff for pursuing btech from LNMIIT from the computer science branch was around more then 99 percentile.For SC and sT it was more than 84 and for OBC it was more than 92.
