Frankly speaking, lateral admission will take you to graduation course but NIT what you desire. I would strongly advise you to approach deemed to be universities which offer such integrated courses. Hello Preethu Gowda, yes, I can understand your angst and the anxiety about getting placed after completing four years of engineering. Frankly speaking the situation is quite bad. As per one of the reports only 50% of fresh graduate engineering graduates were placed. Even those passing out of IIT faced issue of no placements! May be due to this, thousands of seats are not getting filled up in existing engineering colleges and many colleges are getting closed or closing different branches where there are no students.
