Lovely Professional University is one of the prestigious institute of India for higher studies and placements. I have seen lot of posts by other persons that LPU is placing their students in software companies etc. Well I want to clarify this statement that:
A) A company has various units like production, services, manufacturing, software etc. So when a company is visiting in the campus, they are demanding students from different branches. So, as per their requirement, the students are getting eligible for placement drives. So, there are multiple companies which are famous for their software or IT products but they are also running other units and branches also. Example is Wipro, Bosch, Tata.
B) B.Tech Automobile students are in high demand by various core mechanical companies as well.

Computer Science is 3 years of Graduation course while B.Tech is 4 years of Graduation course after which you will get Engineer's Degree. B.Sc. CS will teach you about computer application but won't focus much on coding. So I would suggest you for B.Tech Computer Science. Talking about Lovely Professional University, student of CSE here in LPU. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media and which made a maiden run in the Indian Science Congress 2019 held by LPU, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. And many more, with great placement opportunities, there is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.

I would suggest going for DTU. DTU is better than NSIT in almost all scenarios be it infrastructure, placements, campus life, brand value. DTU Placement Stats for 2021-22 (till 27 Aug 2021 I. e. only 27 days)

This is as per DTU's official website & can be considered one of the best in India almost close to IIIT Hyderabad CSE whose avg is around 22-23 LPA for around 120 students only. The placement season has just begun with more than 11 months still left. Choose accordingly.
