Private Universities like SRMIST conducts its own entrance test SRMJEEE and also accepting the JEE Main scores. While the K. L. University Guntur admits students on the basis of ranks obtained in JEE Main/ KLEEE/ EAMCET etc. The Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) Chennai admits students in B.Tech Genetic Engineering on the basis of Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination BEEE 2021.
