He did B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently, he is working with XL Dynamics with a decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. School of Mechanical Engineering organized an International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICRAME), in which experts from leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Biomimicry India were present. University give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Are prominent recruiters here. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. LPU is basically an industry-oriented university not like the other universities focusing on just making students grasp the syllabus.

My sister has completed her graduation from LPU so she told me some of the points :

PO1 :Engineering knowledge : Apply the knowledge of mathematics, Science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialisation to the solution of complex engineering problems. PO2 : Problem analysis : Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences. PO3 : Design/development of solutions : Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations. PO4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems : Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions. PO5 : Modern tool usage : Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations
PO6 : The engineer and society : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice. LPU has formed a contemporary record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Additionally, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement

The average packages lie between 4.5 to 6 LPA.

Dear Pavan, B.Tech CSE graduate can go for establishing a startup, which is based on a new invention, a patent or an innovation, in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data Analytics, Security and Cryptography, Database Management, Quantum Computing, Mobile Computing, and so on. My cousin did B.Tech in CSE at LPU and got placed in an MNC. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world.
