Lateral entry is usually for Diploma holders into engineering courses. B.Tech in Physics isn't common; lateral entry in it is rare.

The course fee for a BTech in Engineering Physics in India typically ranges between INR 2.13 Lacs to INR 8.63 Lacs per year depending on the college, with top institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) charging towards the higher end of this range.

You may go through the list of some important documents you must carry during BTech Engineering Physics admission process at popular Indian colleges:

The BTech Engineering Physics degree course is a 4-year programme available at some of the best colleges in India. The course deals with topics such as electromagnetism, materials science, quantum mechanics, analog electronics, computational methods, microprocessor and microcontroller, etc.

The coursework for BTech Engineering Physics includes both theory classes as well as practical lab work to provide practical exposure to students with strong emphasis on skill enhancement. Although, in a few countries, the duration or the structure of the degree course might be different, typically it is a 4-year undergraduate degree course.
