You are saying that you have been offered admission for the b tech course or a combined course of B.Tech with mtecc. The latter will get you both the degrees in 5 years while if you do individually you will require six years in addition to appearing for either GATE or some such entrance exam for post graduation. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should go for the admission for five years course for B.Tech and M.Tech. Best wishes to you.

It's very nice to SEE your resolve to resume your studies once again. Actually rules for readmission change from university to university. Normally speaking the college or the university will seek a reason from you as to why you took a break or why you could not continue. But I am sure you can give a cogent and logical answer.
