LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU.
LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-
The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher.
LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship.
Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
Board Toppers
For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents
From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable.
For B.tech Computer science programme the fee per semester is 98000 from which the scholarship amount will be reduced every semester.
Hostel Charges depend upon the type of hostel room, you opt for. University offers room from 1 to 6 seater and even dormitory and further AC and Non AC option as well. The fees of hostel depends upon which seater and with which facilities you are availing, based on that the cost can be analysed.

Hi Bipasha, To take admission in MBA at LPU is 50% aggregate while some top players like LPU have fixed it at 55% in any stream of graduation. But the marks in graduation are not the only criteria, most of the institutions also take entrance tests or group discussions or interviews or all of them. Some top entrance examinations are: CAT MAT XAT SNAP IBSAT and LPU NEST. So, it is perfectly okay to do MBA in finance after B Tech provided you are eligible as per marks and also comply with the other selection criteria if any. Very important point that comes to my mind is: You must first check your interests, attitude, passion and aspiration before taking a plunge, your aptitude will be checked by the university itself with the examination or interview. It is advisable to pursue the MBA only from top institutions, as only they provide the right launchpad for your career. There are some very good business schools that offer such programs like Iims, IITs, FMS Delhi, SPJMER, Great lakes Chennai, LBSIM, JIMS, UBS Chandigarh, SIBM, SCMHRD, IBS Hyderabad, LPU Punjab etc. All the Best.

Hi Ram, To get admission in M.Sc. Physics in LPU, the Eligibility criteria is that candidate must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in B.Sc. Science or B.Tech. Online admissions are already open and one can proceed though their website www.lpu.in
One more important point for LPU, they are also providing Scholarship on the tuition fee if a candidates qualify their test called LPU NEST. This is a online objective type test.
