What is SAAT?

SAAT exam is organized by the admission authority of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University. The exam is conducted online for admission to various UG & PG courses of Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Law, Management, and Hotel Management. SAAT is a national level entrance examination. Admission to the engineering programme is based on performance in JEE Main 2024 and SAAT 2024 whereas admission to the dental & medical programmes will be done based on the NEET scorecard. The exam was conducted for 2 hours i.e., 120 minutes.

SAAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

The exam authority has mentioned the SAAT 2024 eligibility criteria at the official website. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the SAAT application form 2024. Candidates must possess the eligibility criteria to apply for SAAT 2024. The application form of non-eligible candidates will not be accepted.   • Passed Class 12 from a recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics as the main subject along with anyone of the following Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Informatics /Information Technology /Computer Science /Statistics /Technical Vocational subject.  
  • Candidates should have scored 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).

Q:   Is there any reservation in SAAT exam?

A:

Yes, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan provides reservation to candidates belonging to reserved category. Applicants claiming for reservation are advised to have all the documents ready. Reserved category candidates must produce their category certificate at the time of admissions. For more details, candidates can refer information below. 

  • 15% and 7.5% seats in all programmes are reserved respectively for candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption). 

  • 3% seats are reserved for physically disabled (PH) candidates 

  • 30% of seats under each category for all the programmes are reserved for women candidates.

Steps to fill SAAT Application Form 2024 

Candidates can refer to the steps given below to fill application form of SAAT 2024.  

SAAT Registration 2024: Aspirants have to register for the SAAT 2024 exam by providing their details such as name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, gender, etc.  

Fill in the Personal Details: Applicants should fill in all the details such as Name, Guardian’s Name, Guardian’s or Parent’s Income, Occupation etc.  

Fill in Academic Details: Enter all the required details such as Qualifying exam, Board, University, Year of Passing etc.  

Upload Photograph and Signature: Applicants should upload their recent passport-sized scanned image and scanned signature in jpg format.  

Select the Exam Centre: Applicants should select and mark the exam centre as per their convenience. SAAT 2024 exam is conducted in almost 40 cities and applicants can choose from around 62 exam centres across India.  

Preview and Submit Form: Applicants should review the form for all the missing details and errors and click on submit. There is no application fee for SAAT 2024.

Q:   What are the items restricted inside the SAAT exam centre?

A:

The authorities will allow candidates to carry certain items inside the SAAT exam hall 2024. However, candidates are advised not to carry any restricted items inside the SAAT 2024 exam hall. The items restricted inside the SAAT exam centre are given below.

  • Bluetooth devices or any electronic device 

Q:   Can I change my exam centre after filling SAAT application form?

A:

No, the exam authority will not allow candidates to change their SAAT exam centres after the submission of application form. Applicants are advised to fill their exam centre preference carefully at the time of filling the SAAT 2024 application form. Candidates appearing in the exam should select SAAT exam centre near their city only. Applicants are not allowed to take SAAT 2024 exam other than the exam centre mentioned in the admit card.  

SAAT Admission Process 2024

Candidates can check SAAT 2024 admission process from below. 

Step 1: Register for the exam by visiting the official website or using the link which is available on this page.  

Step 2: Validate email id with code and then fill in the application form.  

Step 3: Submit the SAAT application form 2024. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

SAAT Counselling 2024

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan will conduct the SAAT 2024 counselling in online mode. Candidates have to register separately for the SAAT counselling process.
