Rules for college changing are:
1. Both colleges should be under the same university.
2. You should have secured a good rank in the entrance exam.
3. You should maintain a CGPA of more than 7.
4. Both the colleges should agree with your transfer.
5. For more details visit the university or college's website.

Hi,
I would suggest not going for B.Tech, rather go for M.Tech course as you are eligible for that. You can give GATE exam for that and clear it to get admission in IIT M.Tech programme. You can clear maths paper now also for 12th standard as it is necessary to be cleared.
Good luck.

Since you have scored such good marks and also cleared JEE Mains, I would suggest you to look for an NIT or IIEST for betterment. Amity Noida is fine if it's your personal choice and you will easily get a chance there but with your results you should look for more.

You can change your branch after 1st year if you don't have any back logs. 1st year is common, so you need to clarify all subjects. When you get admission in 3rd sem and your result of 1st year is all clear, then request your registrar for branch change.

On the basis of diploma, you can get admission in any college. You should do counselling for that. Kindly choose college carefully. Take information about placements & quality of education very carefully even you are getting government /autonomous college.
