Yes, Birsa Agricultural University is a good choice for students. Birsa Agricultural University flagship courses include BSc and BTech. The programmes and activities of teaching, research, and extension are carried out through three faculty members (Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, and Forestry) with a total of eight colleges. The university infrastructure and the placements are also good.

BAU Ranchi admissions are predominantly merit-based. Candidates interested in the BSc programme at BAU Ranchi must have completed Class 12 or equivalent and have Physics, Chemistry, or Biology/ Mathematics. For UG programmes, the university conducts the Combined Competitive Entrance Examination organised by I.C.A.R. V.C.I. at the All India level and through the Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board.
