BCA is a 3 years long undergraduate level Bachelor's degree program. The course structure is quite similar to the traditional B.Sc. program. The 3 years duration is divided into 6 semesters, each lasting a period of 6 months.

In terms of Industry preference, for placement purpose as well as duration of the course B.Tech in CS/IT(4 years after +2) is always better than BCA+MCA ( 6 or 5 years after +2).
