The total tuition fees of BDS is INR 15.6 lakh at SRM Dental College Kattankulathur. To have an admission in this institute for BDS, it is recommended that the student concentrate on his/her 12th standard results with a well-set up knowledge about Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For admission, the eligibility criteria is as follows :-
- The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
- He/She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
- Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
- Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%.
