The total tuition fees of BDS is INR 15.6 lakh at SRM Dental College Kattankulathur. Candidates are required to pay the first instalment of the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates are also required to pay a registration fee of INR 10,000 at admission. Mamata Dental College accepts NEET UG scores, followed by NEET UG Counselling process for admission to the BDS course. Moreover, Mamata Dental College cutoff has been released for BDS courses based on the NEET score. The NEET Last Round Closing Rank for BDS course at Mamata Dental College stood at 701043 for SC category students. However, the cutoff stood at 595285 for General category candidates. Companies like Colgate and IDA visits the college for recruitment.The number of companies visiting their college is rising year on year so as the number of recruitment offers for the students.Some students got placed in Clove dental.Some of the important role that are offered in our course are oral and maxillofacial surgeon, orthodontist, prosthodontist.

To have an admission in this institute for BDS, it is recommended that the student concentrate on his/her 12th standard results with a well-set up knowledge about Biology, Chemistry and Physics. To enroll in any medical course, it is compulsory to write the NEET exam therefore prepare well for the exam. Also, keep yourself informed on the institutes admission requirements.

For admission, the eligibility criteria is as follows :-

  • The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
  • He/She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
  • Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
  • Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%.
