No, BITS Pilani does not offer direct admission for general condidates. Admission to B.Tech, B.Pharma or M.Sc programme is primarily through the BITSAT exam. BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test).

For some international students, some seats are reserved for direct admission.

The placement process at BITS Pilani is structured, it begins with pre-placement talks. followed by written tests and interview Salary packages for BITS Pilani graduates are:- the highest salary packages INR 1.5 cror per annum, average salary packages INR 15 Lacs to INR 25 Lacs per annum.
