Yes, GATE scores are accepted for admission to BITS Pilani campuses. However, admission to the M.E in software systems will only be through the BITS HD exam. Candidates applying through GATE exam will have to provide their valid GATE scores for admission.

BITS Pilani (not Planny) is pretty selective when it comes to admission, so if your score in the qualifying exams is not high enough, there is no alternate route of admission. Still, there are a few things one can do:
Reappear for it Next Year: If you are a student and get the chance to re-appear for the exams of 12th boards, then do your best to increase your scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Pharmacy, Biology will be there) to achieve minimum aggregate with minimum marks of 60% in each subject.
Alternative Exams: BITS Pilani accepts SAT for NRI students. Still, the route also requires maintaining a good academic record

Yes, BITS Pilani offers admission to all international students based on SAT scores, howeven indian students must appear in the BITSAT or in some unexpected circumstances JEE mains scores will be considered valid for the admission. BITS Pilani offers all undergradudate courses available in the Istitute based on SAT score to all international students.

BITS Pilani offers ME/M.Tech in a full time mode and the duration of the course is 2 years spread across 4 semesters. Admissions to this course are completely merit based and for this purpose, the college accepts the scores of GATE, GPAT and BITS HD. The total tuition fee ranges between INR 2.4 L – INR 10.4 L. The average placement package is INR 12.2 LPA – INR 16.5 LPA.
