Every year in BSEB 12th exams, practical exams are conducted before the theory exam. Uusually the board instrucs schools to conduct the BSEB 12th practical exams in January. Practical exams test students knowledge of paper by through experiments, projects, and viva (oral) exams. The practical marks are then added to the final result.
