Jammu university has BTech Computer Science and Civil Engineering courses at Kathua Campus (UIET). It also has affiliated engineering colleges which offer these programmes. The entry is to be merit based as candidates have an option to select any specialisation based on the availability and type of seat. Candidates will require passing Class 12 with a minimum of 45 percent to take admission in the BTech course at Jammu University.
