Hello Rakesh, In all German universities, there are two forms of acceptance to the general majors. The first form is majors with restricted acceptance Beschrnkte Studiengnge, which means that the number of applicants is much more than the available places for this particular course at the university. In that type, not all applicants will be admitted to study their desired course at the university. The second form is majors with non-restricted acceptance Unbeschrnkte Studiengnge which means that the number of available places to study at the desired course is way more than the number of applicants so all students will be admitted to study their desired course at the university. Unfortunately, most courses at LMU (Ludwig Maximillians University of Munich) have restricted acceptance rate. In some cases as in Medicine or Pharmacy, the competition is tough for international students because the number of available Places for them is only 5%. Wish you good luck.
