The San Diego Design Institute offers a special, CIDA accredited BFA in interior design. Students appreciate small classes, hands-on studios and professional focus. The programme can be pricey, with very little for amenities, which may be an additional concern. California State University Long Beach or Otis College may offer greater scope in resources. Campus life gives experiences such as mingling with fellow students, attendance of events, and easily accessing academic resources. The "campus life," however, is not quite similar to bigger universities, because the Design Institute of San Diego is a small college. Staying off-campus could give more independence and privacy, and it might even cost less, but there will be no close community feel that on-campus living will give.
Finally, it all depends on what you prefer about community, convenience, and budget. If the institute has strong student engagement and you value interaction, then on-campus is better for you. If not, then off-ca
