For Indian students the UC Irvine acceptance rate is 43% which is way higher than the general acceptance rate meaning that the university is very acceptable of the foreign crowd, which is also suggested by the increasing no. of Indian origin students accepted by the university. Considering it forms part of the best US universities, it comes as no surprise that it does not have a very high acceptance rate. Its acceptance rate is 32.7%, instead. This means, as an Indian student, you would have to perform very well in your studies to get into the university. However, you do have a genuine chance of admission, provided you meet the basic eligibility requirement.

Applicants must provide official transcripts of all the schools or universities attended. If the academic credentials are not written in English, they must be translated into English by an approved translator before submission. Apart from this, the following documents are required to fulfill UC Irvine admission requirements:
