The freshman applicants at the University of California - Los Angeles have strong academic records. All those students who have completed all of their secondary school in a country where English is not the language of instruction, as well as students who have had less than 3 years of instruction in English, shall need to demonstrate English Proficiency. UCLA University looks for a competitive score above 100 in TOEFL, 7 or above on the IELTS, or a 120 or higher in the Duolingo English Test.
