According to a student from San Jose State University here are some reasons :
- The coursework is designed in par with the current trend. The university has professors who are working in IBM, Startups and they teach subjects in areas of Big Data, Machine Learning and Information Security
- The weather is pretty awesome neither too cold nor too hot.
- The fees is comparatively cheaper than other state universities
- As its located in heart of Silicon Valley you have very good opportunities. Almost all of the students landed good internships/full time jobs

According to the QS World rankings 2024, University of California Berkeley has a ranking of #10 and University of Washington has a ranking of #63. Some of the other rankings of both the universities are given as follows:

Yes, California State University Fullerton allows students to work while studying in the university and they're allowed to work no more than 20 hours per week. Students must keep in mind that the amount they earn cannot exceed their total Federal Work-Study award authorization.
