Colleges are comparatively way cheaper than universities and have slightly easier admission rules. For example, for admission to a Master's degree course, the colleges may accept a three-year degree which universities do not accept in contrary. Admission standards are higher in university and it prefers students with more than 70% in most cases but for colleges, it is not the case, though the colleges are also very competitive, you can apply if you have a decent score, but above 55%.
