The cabin crew has one of the most promising careers in the aviation sector. The cabin crew are a combination of air hostess(Fem,ales) and air stewards(males). The ratio of selection of stewards against that of air hostess is generally 3:7. So in a crew of 10 you would expect 3 stewards and 7 air hostess.
India currently has 5,100 pilots, of which 600, or 11.7 per cent, are women, according to ministry of civil aviation data. There are a total 130,000 pilots in the world, of which 4,000, or about 3 per cent , are women, according to the International Society of Women Airline Pilots.

Teaching is one of the largest professions. Teachers specialize to teach at different levels such as the pre-primary, primary, secondary, senior secondary and university levels. The first step in the education of a school counselor is to obtain a bachelor's degree - usually in counseling, psychology, education or social work, though a degree in a related field can be acceptable. Following this four-year program, candidates must obtain a specialized master's degree in school counseling, which is required by most states for employment as a counselor in a school or university setting. Some school counselors first work more directly in education (as teachers or tutors) before entering graduate school to specialize in counseling. While this may provide useful insights into how educational settings function and how best to interact with students, it is by no means required.
Basic coursework for a master's degree in school counseling includes counseling techniques and various approaches to academic, social and behavioral issues. Aspiring school counselors should select their age or education level of interest, and accordingly select coursework that will best prepare them for working with such students. For those looking to become college counselors, for instance, additional courses that deal with career counseling are required. Training in childhood behavioral disorders or abuse reporting may be required of prospective elementary school counselors. A school counselor should also expect to enroll in continuing education courses throughout his or her career, in order to keep up with the latest developments in the field and maintain certification.

The requirement of certificates/degree or qualification of any sort entirely depends on the Profile and Industry that you wish to pursue.
The basic eligibility for aviation industry at large is at least a graduation in any field. In some cases one needs to have some qualification to be able to fulfill the job responsibilities and Increase chances of selection. However, in majority of the Airlines it is good enough to have a basic Graduation and basic requirement of Height, Weight etc. You can directly go for an Interview.
Being a flight steward is one of the good career option as it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities not only in India but across the globe.
In order to be a flight steward you may consider pursuing some of the below mentioned course:
1. Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management.
2. Diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Customer Service.
The duration of these course may be from 12 Months to 18 Months.
In order to pursue above mentioned course you need to be 12th pass and above, and need to have a good communication skills.
Graduates in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
International Airlines recruit cabin crew member in the age group of 18-35 years.
Good language, ability and proficiency in English, Hindi, a regional language and at least one foreign language are essential requirements for inflight crew members working for National or International carriers.
Physical requirements:
1. Height for Air Hostesses: Minimum of 157.5 cm and
2. Flight Pursers: 163 cm with proportionate Weight.
Normal eyesight without glasses or a Minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/40 is acceptable.
