Hello, if one has studied and prepared diligently for CAT, then scoring good is very much possible. Strong concepts, giving analysing mocks, and a calm & confident mind ensures one having a great CAT score.

If you are aiming for IIMs, 90 percentile is a must and a minimum. Actually, in TIME institution's website, you can find a list of colleges and their grading. As the colleges have higher gradings the cut-off required will be higher. So accordingly, you will be able to know which colleges have what kind of cut-offs.

The CAT cutoff generally lies on the both sides of 80 percentile, after that you get a call based on your profile.

You have to score more than 95 percentile to get admissions in IIMs

For admission in IIMS for Ph.D you need to have either CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ UGC-JRF score.

Sorry to say with no false hopes there are no chances to even qualify for IIM C because for the admission into IIM you need to be good in all areas. Your academics are not that good to get IIM. You can try for other institutions.
