Hi Dinesh83959! CAT marks and percentile relation varies from year to year. The cutoff for joining NIT Trichy varies based on a person's job experience, interview and group discussion performances apart from CAT percentile . However if you are a fresher and an open category student generally the cutoff is around 90-95 percentile.

The details of the percentile, marks in Class X, XII and the breakup of different components for the admission will come out in due time.

CAT is a highly competitive examination. Candidates have to score very high marks to seek admission in top B-schools. If you do not get admission in any of the top 30 B-schools, you can reappear with better preparation. In order to mitigate your risks of losing time, you may also appear in other MBA entrance examinations such as XAT, MAT, etc. You can also do MBA from Tier 2 and 3 B-schools.
