Hi Vennela,
It depends on your category. If you belong to general category 99.8+ would be enough to sail through. However, Percentile is not the only criteria to get an admission but it is the first step. Interviewers judge your personality traits and gauge your capabilities in the interview before making you a final offer.
All the best

CAT is an exam conducted by the IIMs and accepted by most of the b-schools. CAT is conducted in the month of November or December. CAT consists of 4 subjects divided into different sections:
1. Data interpretation.
2. Logical reasoning.
3. Quantitative aptitude and
4. Verbal ability along with reading comprehension.
You need to prepare all sections very well and be thorough with all the topics. A score of more than 95 percentile is needed to get a call from a top b-school.

The cutoffs are not out for this year but based on last years data it should be 75 percentile or above. The cutoffs estimate can be more accurately communicated with results of CAT.

There is no rule, which stops you in appearing for CAT because of backlog. If you can clear your backlog before start of MBA/PGDM course in June 2017, you can appear for CAT 2016.

For PGDM admission you need to apply separately. College issues separate forms for PGDM courses. There are a number of exams considered for PGDM admissions, CAT is one of them. Based on your score, you'll be shortlisted for Gd/pi. Based on your GD/PI performance you'll be admitted.
