Hi Pranav, admission into IIMs doesn't have to do anything with your JEE or CET scores. Just make sure you store good in CAT and have a good graduation score.

Clearing CAT or any other MBA entrance exams depends on your Verbal, Logical , Analytical and Data Interpretation ability and skills. If you have developed these skills in your acedmic career you can crack any Management entrance exam easily with little prepratation. You may analyse your current skill by taking few mock up tests. Based on Mock Up test results, you will be able to assess your weaknesses and then make a plan to overcome your weaknesses with or without coaching support.

Dear Mradul,
Since you must be aware of the fact that CAT is a national level test and GMAT is preferably for abroad studies so difference among both is quite obvious so it would be wrong if we consider preparation of one sufficient for other as well.
Good luck!

You need to have a valid management test score(MAT/CAT) unless and until which you can't apply for admission to the desired course.
