CAT, MAT ,XAT are all admission test for PGDM, MBA, PGP etc and require analytical reasoning, verbal ability and numerical ability. To see whether u need coaching or not, the best way is to take a mock test and then decide about coaching. Byju's classes, Career launcher , MBAguru etc are few places where u may take a demo class too.

No dear without that its not possible if you feel that you can get the required score in MAT september then apply but if you fail to get the score your admission would get cancelled without any refund of fees.

Hi,
If you have absolutely no idea about the exam and process,I suggest you join a coaching Institute. There are many like T.I.M.E., Career Launcher and IMS. Study hard and get a good score.
Also, remember that CAT score is not the only thing that can get you an admission into an IIM. Your profile also matters a lot. You can find your chances here at https://www.shiksha.com/mba/resources/iim-call-predictor

Hi,
Yes, You can get an admission in IIM even if you don't have a work experience. The work experience only gives an added advantage. You will have to score better in GD/PI.
