A lot would depend on an individuals academic strengths & Educational back ground.A student with a Engineering background always has advantage on other students due to him his being presumed to be good in numbers. Now a days a lot of institutes run 2-3 months courses for preparing one for the CAT exam. The mantra here is to polish ones basics & then do practice /sample questions as much as one can .

For upto 2nd cap round you can put Xaviers, MET IES Chetana lala and thakur
in 3rd round cut off will come down so you can even apply to Sies and dalmia

For the PGDM Program, admissions take place purely through merit. There are no donation seats available.

For admission at ASB Coimbatore and other campuses,you need to have a valid minimum cat sore and attend PI during the admission process.

There is no CAT cut off in PSGIM, once you apply you will be called for screening. You need to clear GD and PI to get an admission.

The over all cut off is 85%ile and individual sectional cut offs for each section is 70%ile. Additionally SPJIMR also accepts XAT with 85%ile overall and a GMAT cut off of 650.

There is no donation for PGDM. All admissions are on the basis of merit only. Moreover, MAT is not accepted for the PGDM course.
