ya u have to qualify your bachelor's in any field with at least 50-60% and apply for any private university which give better placement too

Only CAT score is considered for admission process in Department of Management Studies, IIT ROORKEE. Other management entrance scores have no role in evaluation. The final merit for making offers of admission will have following weightages :
CAT percentile- 65%. GD- 10%. Interview- 20%. Work ex.- 5%

HelloYou should go delhi for CAT exam coaching. Because where you get good coaching and better study material. According to me , i suggest cat coaching institute in delhi are:
1. Alchemist coaching for cat
2. T.I.M.E. coaching for cat

If you have cleared all the backlogs and have received the degree in time, you are eligible to appear CAT given you fulfill minimum percentage requirement. Here is the details about cutoff requirements.

And that is why you probably did not receive interview call from IIMs. Also I don't think that you will receive interview calls from IIMs with 83 percentile. I would suggest you should prepare well next time.

I don't think you stand a chance of getting into top six IIMs with 85 percentile. For general category students the cutoff goes as high as 98 percentile. However if you from non-engineering background, the cutoff are slightly lower. I would suggest that you give your best shot at CAT and not worry about cutoff now. Higher you score, better chances you have of qualifying.
