Every exam has its own funcrional area. Atma is also an all india level test but a few good number of colleges take admission through it. CAT/MAT is the most popular mba entrance exam in india catering aspirants the top colleges of india. CAT is the only exam to get admission in IIMs. Many other top notches accept cat result. This depends upon your caliber. If you are an average student then starting early will give you time to practice and hone your skills. If you are a brilliant student, you may start later.

Hi Kiran, As per last year data you have great chances of getting admission in MITSOM. Cut off was 82 percentile for NT1 category in first CAP round for HU candidate.

It depends upon your caliber and how much time you can give for preparation on a daily basis. 3-4 hours a day for an year should land an average student with a good score.

That depends upon the city you live in. In Delhi, there is Time, CL, IMS, MBA guru etc. Time is preferred by students.

I would advice u to prepare for cat.as u can hv as much as opportunities to appear for cat.if u think u hv a caliber to crack cat then u must go for it.at d end u hv to decide wat is the best choice for u.
