It's depend on your career interest. If you want to go into a management related career as well as professional job, you may apply in CAT and other entrance exams.
May be a job can effect your preparation so here i suggest you should prepare for CAT first then u may take job.

No. one year preparation is enough for cat. start preparation during graduation.

Sorry Srinath, You will have to take any of the tests like CAT 50 %tile, MAT 60 %tile,CMAT 100 Marks, XAT 50 %tile or TANCET( Based on the cumulative scores).

yeah u r eligible if u score good %tile in cat 16.
college will give u time to clear ur backlogs.

CAT 2016 form has not yet opened. If you have a graduation degree, you can appear for CAT.
