The BVP B-MAT application fee for all categories is INR 2000. While filling out the application form, the candidates will be required to pay the fee. Candidates will be able to make the fee payment online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. If the fee is not paid, the candidates will not be able to submit their application form.

As per the official BVP B-MAT exam pattern, the total duration of the examination is 3 hours (180 minutes). No extra time will be allotted to the candidates to complete the examination. No specific time is allotted to each section, and the candidates will have to complete the entire paper within the allotted duration. Candidates are advised to practice time management to complete the paper within 3 hours.

The official marking scheme is released through the BVP B-MAT exam pattern. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer in the entrance examination. Yes. The authorities will accept objections against the provisional BVP B-MAT answer key. It is to be noted that all objections have to be submitted before the final date, which will be announced soon. To raise the objections, the candidates will have to log in and submit the supporting proof to their objections. The submitted objections will be carefully reviewed by the authorities.

All qualified candidates will have to register for the counselling process by providing their details and filling out their choice of campuses. BVP B-MAT seat allotment will be announced online. The authorities will allot the BVP B-MAT exam centres as per the candidate's preferences and availability of seats. The allotted centre details can be checked through the BVP B-MAT admit card.

Before BVP B-MAT registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. If the candidates are found ineligible, then their admission will be cancelled by the authorities. The important BVP B-MAT eligibility criteria are listed below.

• Candidates should have passed BCA/BSc (Computer Science)/BSc (IT)/BE (CSE)/BE (IT)/BTech (IT) or equivalent degree OR
• Passed any graduation degree preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. 
• Candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in the qualifying exam.

The authorities will accept original and valid Government approved identity proofs at the BVP B-MAT exam centres. Any of the following identity proofs will be accepted by the authorities - Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, School ID. If the candidates are unable to bring their identity proof along with the BVP B-MAT admit card, then they will be considered ineligible for the examination.
