and check the previous year's OBC-NCL cutoff's of your home state NIT first. Thereafter, check the cutoff's your preferred or nearby NITs. You would definitely get an idea of your selection.

You can also check the previous year's cutoff's for NITs,IIITs,GFTIs on the basis of your JEE MAIN AIR,
ON

Aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects (BFS). Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as BFS.

Intermediate or 10+2 from U. P. Board or other equivalent examination of Arts, Science, Commerce, etc. Students appearing in Intermediate may also apply subject to production of evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission. There is written entrance test for admission conducted by CSJM University, Kanpur which will comprise of objective type questions on general knowledge, general English, arithmetic and reasoning. group discussion and personality interview will also be held.
