NITHIN EEDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT

She is eligible but we can expect only a tier-3 campus. She cannot join NITs or premium Institutes with this rank.

Yes, but it is a 50-50 chance. Last year, students with rank above 35k have joined the campus. The statistics can change this year.

Sorry, with these ranks, it is very difficult to get into DY Patil. Try for other private self-financing campuses.

You can apply for cabin crew profile which requires only 12th as educational qualification. For other profiles you may have to study further atleast till you are graduated. Jobs in aviation do not necessarily require the Candidates to hold a degree in aviation to get hired. The airlines or avaition companies train the Candidates as per their needs after shortlisting them by some rounds of selection process or may be just after an interview. Still if you feel the need to go for some specific course in aviation, than you may look for courses like airport management, airline ticketing, crew resourcing etc.

Hello Hermione, Always remember"Failure is never final". You can always get better by hard work. It's nice to see your aim of getting into IIST at Trivendrum. Eligibility for this is JEE Advanced and for that one needs 75% marks in 12th. However there are plenty of other good colleges with this branch. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about these colleges. Remove IIT's and have a look at other options. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/ranking/top-aeronautical-engineering-colleges-in-india/49-2-0-0-0.

The best you can get is K.J Somaiya (being autonomous) and one of the best in terms of research and academics.
You can also go for PICT if you have great interest in computing and coding related fields.
Also, RCOEM will be a great choice with your marks, you'll get core in it .
MIT-Pune (be a bit expensive) has a good ranking and will be worth your education.
Also, do try for COEP till the last round, hopefully, you'll end up getting core or chemical in it .
Best of luck.
