After 12th you can go for Engineering, Medical, or Commerce field. In engineering you can go for B.E. /B.Tech. You can also look for Bachelors in Science in your favorite subject. In Commerce you can look for B.Com BBA B.A. (in arts subjects like history, humanities, literature). .

If you are looking for engineering than B.E. And B.Tech are best options. Disciplines offered are Electronics and Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Other Science course is Bachelors in Science. If you have interest towards Commerce than B.COM/BBA/BA are better options.

Go for engineering line like BE/B.Tech with any branch. It is very good degree to pursue. And, if you don't want to go for engineering, and like Maths, then go for B.Sc. After this, you can do M.Sc and doctorate degree, and then you can become professor in the university. But, you have to have some knowledge and command on the field you will choose.
