Academic requirements for MBA:
The first and foremost eligibility requirement to apply abroad for an MBA is to have completed a basic Bachelor's level graduation degree. This could be an engineering degree B.E. / B.Tech B.Sc. B.Com B.A. or in any other discipline. A Master's or doctoral Ph.D. degree is also fine. A full-time degree from a reputed university is preferred. However, some MBA colleges may also accept correspondence and distance education. The primary evidence that you will submit to prove your credentials are your academic transcripts. These include semester-wise marks for each subject that was covered in your degree. You may also be required to appear for an international exam like the GMAT or GRE which is crucial for admission to top B-Schools abroad, and language proficiency tests like the IELTS or TOEFL, if required. Unlike a 2-year MBA in India, MBA colleges abroad expect students to have had substantial exposure to the working world. In fact, they expect not only technical skills (that are easier to gain in junior roles) but also managerial skills (like team leading, planning, coordination). Hi Pooja, Some of the best universities in Australia for pursuing medical sciences are University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Sydney, The Australian National University Medical School (ANUMS), University of Adelaide, and University of Queensland among others. Admissions to undergraduate medical programs are done through UMAT - Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test. Overall, a higher first class is preferred, medical programs are highly competitive. Gaps are not something that is favoured by Australian universities but a good profile will make a difference. The basic prerequisites to become a pilot are mentioned below:
You must complete class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in maths and physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License. Alternatively, you could directly enrol for the Private Pilot License once you have cleared class XII and are 17 years old. This involves taking an exam conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation* consisting of theory papers on air navigation, aviation meteorology, air regulation and technical aspects. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function. You need to complete the requisite number of hours, clear written papers and the medical examination. You need 70 percent marks to pass in each of these papers.
